Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

SCSU Men's Soccer Falls to Franklin Pierce

NEW HAVEN, Conn.-The Southern Connecticut men's soccer team fell to the back-to-back defending national champions Franklin Pierce, 1-0. The Owls are now 4-4-2 overall and 2-3 in the conference. The Ravens now improve to 5-1-3 overall and 1-1-2 in the conference.  

The Franklin Pierce offense was a tough match for the Owls as they took 16 shots while Southern Connecticut only had to five. The Ravens controlled the ball for most of the game and were able to score 25 minutes into the game.  

The Owls had some chances towards the end of the game, but ultimately, Franklin Pierce was able to come out with the win.  

Southern Connecticut men's soccer is back on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at the University of New Haven in a non-conference game.
