WALTHAM, Mass.-Southern Connecticut men's soccer was defeated by Bentley, 1-0. The Owls are now 4-6-2 overall and 2-4-0 in the conference. Bentley improves to 6-3-2 overall and 3-2-0 in the conference.

Bentley got ahead quickly, scoring only four minutes into the game. Despite the quick goal, it was a quiet rest of the first half. 

About 13 minutes into the second half, Bentley scored another goal to put the Falcons up two. Less than a minute later, Jake Novoshelski scored to keep the Owls in it, but neither team was able to capitalize on any more opportunities. This was Novoshelski's first goal as an Owl.  

The Owls are back home this week with a game against Adelphi on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. They also will face Assumption on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. to celebrate Senior Night.
