WALTHAM, Mass.-Southern Connecticut men's soccer was defeated by Bentley, 1-0. The Owls are now 4-6-2 overall and 2-4-0 in the conference. Bentley improves to 6-3-2 overall and 3-2-0 in the conference.
Bentley got ahead quickly, scoring only four minutes into the game. Despite the quick goal, it was a quiet rest of the first half.Â
About 13 minutes into the second half, Bentley scored another goal to put the Falcons up two. Less than a minute later, Jake Novoshelski scored to keep the Owls in it, but neither team was able to capitalize on any more opportunities. This was Novoshelski's first goal as an Owl. Â
The Owls are back home this week with a game against Adelphi on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. They also will face Assumption on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. to celebrate Senior Night. Â
