SCSU Field Hockey Falls To Bentley

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut field hockey lost to Bentley, 5-0, in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup at Jess Dow Field. With the loss, Southern dropped to 5-10 overall and 3-7 in the NE10 while Bentley improved to 8-7 overall and 7-3 in conference play.

Owls freshman goalie Lyndsay Troisi stopped 12 shots on goal, the second-most saves for her young career.

Southern is back in action on Saturday, Oct. 26 when it hosts Southern New Hampshire at 4 p.m. at Jess Dow Field. Prior to the start of the game, the Owls will celebrate its two senior student-athletes, Cierra Brundage and Trinidad Rodriguez Ricchiuti, as part of Senior Day.
