SCSU Men's Soccer Blanks Saint Michael's, 3-0

COLCHESTER, Vt.-The Southern Connecticut men's soccer team blanked Saint Michael's 3-0 to get themselves a road and conference win. Southern Connecticut improves to 4-3-1 overall and 2-2-0 in the conference. Saint Michael's drops to 5-4-1 overall and 1-3-0 in the conference.

It was a big offensive showing from the Owls getting multiple people involved in the scoring. Samuel Nagy scored his first goal as an Owl to open up the game. He also added an assist on the day.

Not too long after the goal from Nagy, first-year Owl Jayson Dumont scored making it his second of the year. The Owls were still hot after halftime. Not even thirty seconds into the second half, Nagy passed to Jalen Jean who then crossed it to Jose Clemente to give Southern Connecticut another goal. This is Clemente's sixth goal which is Northeast-10 leading.

The Owls defense also had a strong showing, only allowing two shots all game – those shots both came in the second half.
