NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut gymnastics recorded a total score of 193.900 and finished in fourth place out of eight teams at the Gymnastics East Conference Championships, hosted by Yale University. In the first session against Cornell, Bridgeport and William & Mary, the Owls had the highest team score and had the tie for the highest team score on the Vault. Their fourth-place finish is the best finish that Southern Connecticut has had since joining the Gymnastics East Conference.

Gigi Mastellone recorded a team-best score of 9.850, as they finished tied for third place. This was a career-high for Jordan on the Uneven Bars. On the Balance Beam, junior
Angel Lee had a team-best and season high score of 9.850, as she finished in a tie for fourth place. In the Floor Exercise,
Libby Allen recorded a team-best score of 9.875 and came in a tie for third place. The highest scoring event for the Owls, was the floor exercise, where they posted a total score of 48.850.
VAULT
Sophia Ruecker had a team-best and career-high score of 9.775, as she finished in a tie for seventh. Sophomore
Ava Kelly and Junior
Brianna Dorr had a score of 9.700, as they finished in a tie for 18
th place.
Libby Allen posted a score of 9.675, in 23
