SCSU Football Announces 2024 Schedule

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut State University Football has announced its 2024 schedule, which features six home games at Jess Dow Field.

The Owls open the 2024 slate on Thursday, Sept. 5 at home against Shepherd for the first "Welcome To The Nest" Night. The first home game of the season will feature promotions and giveaways for SCSU students to signal the start of the season. The Owls will then play "Friday Night Under The Lights" when they host American International for a non-conference game on Friday, Sept. 13.

A pair of road games follow as SCSU travels to Bentley on Sept. 20 for its Northeast-10 opener and Saint Anselm on Sept. 27.

Southern then hosts Assumption for Homecoming on Oct. 5, which festivities and celebration for SCSU Alumni surrounding the Owls' largest annual event. After a road contest at Post on Oct. 12, the Owls find themselves playing for the Elm City Cup at home against New Haven on Oct. 19, hosting Frankling Pierce on Oct. 26 and closing its home schedule with Senior Day against Pace on Oct. 26.

After a bye week, the Owls close out the season on the road at American International on Nov. 16.
