MANCHESTER, N.H. – Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer dropped their first conference game to Southern New Hampshire, 1-0. With the loss, the Owls are 2-2-1 overall and 0-1 in the conference. Southern New Hampshire improves to 3-1 and 1-0 in the conference.
Southern Connecticut battled as they played a man down for 74 minutes but ultimately Southern New Hampshire was able to capitalize with just 12 minutes left in the game.
Devin Juan had 9 saves for the Owls.
Southern is back home to take on cross-town rival New Haven on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. They're also home on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. against on Saint Anselm.
