NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team lost to the University of New Haven, 3-0. The Owls are now 2-3-1 overall and 0-2 in the conference. New Haven improved to 4-2-1 overall and is now 1-1 in the conference.
New Haven struck early, scoring their first goal seven minutes into the game. After a quiet rest of the first half, New Haven made some noise and scored six minutes into the second half. Four minutes later, they scored again to add the final goal of the night.
Southern Connecticut is back home on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. for a conference matchup against Saint Anselm.
