MANSFIELD, Mass.-Southern Connecticut men's soccer first-year student Jayson Dumont was named the Northeast-10 Rookie of the Week for Week 3, as announced by the NE10 on Monday, Sept. 23.  

Dumont only played 12 minutes for the Owls and was able to net his first career goal to give Southern Connecticut a cushion in a 3-1 win against Queens.

The Owls are back in action today, Sept 25. at home against crosstown rival New Haven at 7 p.m. They'll also take on Saint Anselm on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. at Jess Dow Field.
