SCSU Women's Soccer Remains Undefeated With 0-0 Tie Against Bridgeport

FLUSHING, N.Y. – Southern Connecticut women's soccer remained undefeated through the first weekend of the 2024 season after playing to a 0-0 tie against Bridgeport at the Queens College Conference Challenge in Flushing, N.Y. Southern goes to 1-0-1 while Bridgeport is now 0-0-2.

Kaelen Fabry picked up her second shutout in as many career games for the Owls after stopping four shots on goal from the Purple Knights. Fabry, who transferred to Southern Connecticut from NCAA Division I Quinnipiac, had five saves against Queens in the season opener on Friday.

As a team, the Owls managed just three shots-on-goal despite holding the advantage with four corner kicks to UB's three in the game.

Southern is back in action on Saturday, Sept. 14 when it heads to West Haven, Conn. to take on New Haven in a non-conference matchup at 1 p.m.
