SCSU Men's Soccer Plays to 0-0 Tie Against Saint Michael's

NEW HAVEN, CONN-- Southern Connecticut men's soccer played to a 0-0 tie in a Northeast 10 conference match up against Saint Michael's College on Saturday at Jess Dow Field. With the draw, The Owls move to 6-2-4 overall and 3-0-3 in the NE10, while Saint Michael's moves to 6-4-2 overall and 3-3-1 in the NE10. 

It was a defensive battle between the Owls and the Purple Knights with both sides only taking two shots on goal each. The Owls shots came from Edward Mensah and Giancarlo Ciotoli

Owls goalkeeper Diego Flores continued to build on a strong season. Coming off of his third consecutive rookie of the week, the freshman added two saves to an already strong season. 

Southern Connecticut is back in action on Wednesday Oct. 22 when they travel to Garden City, N.Y. to take on Adelphi University in a NE 10 match up at 4 pm. The Owls then return to Jess Dow Field on Saturday Nov. 1 to host Bentley University NE 10 conference match up at 4 PM.
