SCSU Men's Soccer Falls to Bentley

NEW HAVEN, CONN.-- Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer fell to Bentley 1-0 Saturday in a Northeast 10 conference match up at Jess Dow Field. With the loss, the Owls move to 8-4-4 overall and 4-2-3 in the NE 10. Win the win, Bentley improved to 10-1-3 overall and 7-0-2 in the NE 10.

After a quiet first half, Bentley drew a foul near the front line of the box setting up a free kick. From there, they put the ball past Diego Flores, giving the Falcons their lone goal of the game and the 1-0 win.

Despite allowing one goal, Diego Flores added four saves to a strong rookie season. Offensively for the Owls Jake Novoshelski and Sam Sandler each had two shots on goal.

The Owls will await to see their opponent for the first round of the Northeast 10 conference tournament on Nov. 8.
