SCSU Football Falls To Franklin Pierce

RINDGE, N.H. – Southern Connecticut football lost to Franklin Pierce, 38-7, in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup in Rindge, N.H. With the loss, the Owls dropped to 3-6 overall and 3-3 in the NE10 while Franklin Pierce improved to 5-4 overall and 4-2 in conference play.

Kieran Falzon rushed for 114 yards on 20 carries as he became the 12th player in program history to break the 1,000 yard mark. Falzon now stands at a NE10-leading 1,014 yards with one game to play. Divine Edwards had eight catches for 116 yards while Brandon Jorgensen scored the Owls' only touchdown of the day.



On defense, LaRawn Robinson led the Owls with eight tackles while Hugh Wilkinson had seven tackles and a sack. Gabe Copeland and Cooper Dayton also had sacks in the game while Dayton had six tackles. Marlon Welsh had six tackles and a pass breakup while TJ Butler had three tackles, broke up one pass and also blocked a field goal.

Southern returns home to Jess Dow Field for its final game of the 2025 season when it hosts Post on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. Prior to the start of the game, the Owls will honor its seniors for Senior Day.
