NE10 Championships: Men Keep the Lead After Day 2

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Southern Connecticut men's swimming and diving team after day two of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships totaling 341 points. Following the Owls in second place is Adelphi (306), Bentley (265), Saint Michael's (187), Staten Island (159), Pace (94), and Assumption (79). The Owls captured two championships, three silver medals, and a bronze medal. 




200 Yard Freestyle Relay 

The men's 200 Free "A" Relay team of Jack Fry, Ben Frazer, Drew Ladner, and Franklin Kuhn came in second in the event with a time of 1:22.82. Fry swam a 21.73 followed by Frazer's 20.77. Ladner posted a time of 20.25 and Kuhn anchored with a time of 20.07.  


500 Yard Freestyle 

Lucas Quiroga came in sixth in the 500 Free with a time of 4:47.53. 


200 Yard Individual Medley 

McAllistar Milne won the 200 IM with a time of 1:50.70. Drew Ladner finished fourth with a time of 1:53.26 and Kobe Dominguez finished sixth with a time of 1:54.10 


50 Yard Freestyle  

Franklin Kuhn won the event with a time of 20.46 - he won the event at the 2023 championships. Ben Frazer came in sixth with a time of 21.36.  


1 Meter Diving 

Elliott Speckhard finished second in his first championships with a score of 396.35. JT Tressel came in third with a score of 366.95.  


400 Yard Medley Relay 

The 400 Medley Relay "A" team of Adam Fred, Kobe Dominguez, McAllistar Milne, and Franklin Kuhn came in second with a time of 3:23.09. Fred led the race with a time of 52.38 and Dominguez followed with a 55.93. Milne swam a 49.77 and Kuhn finished with 45.01.
