SCSU Men's Indoor Track & Field Sees 13 Athletes Named USTFCCCA NCAA DII All-Region

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut Men's Indoor Track & Field saw 13 student athletes combine for 14 NCAA Division II All-Region selections, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams.

After winning the Northeast-10 Conference Indoor Championship for the eighth-straight year, the Owls saw 13 individuals receive All-Region honors. Three Owls received honors for multiple events. The full list of honorees can be read below:

Natanael Barbosa Torres: Shot Put
Cameron Belton: Shot Put
Nolan Freeman: 60 Meters, 200 Meters
John Glidden: 3000 Meters
Osaretin Osagie: 60 Meter Hurdles, 400 Meters
Sam Sandler: 200 Meters, 400 Meters
Dylan Torok: Heptathlon
Mateo Viviano: Pole Vault
Marquis Ward: 60 Meters

4x400 Relay: Osaretin Osagie, Nolan Freeman, Marquis Ward, Sam Sandler
Distance Medley Relay: Evan McNeice, Ty Phelan, Frankie Porrini, Joseph Lamburn
