WEST CHESTER, Pa. - The Southern Connecticut gymnastics team has 27 gymnasts named Gymnastics East Conference Scholar Athletes as announced by the conference on Thursday, Mar. 20.
To be eligible, the student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of 3.2 or better for the Fall 2024 semester.
Four-time recipients include
Libby Allen,
Erica Beyer,
Brianna Dorr,
Emiley Kahl,
Angel Lee,
Shreya Munshi,
Megan Workman, and
Hanna Zebdi.
Mia Damiano,
Emelia Diaz,
Ava Kelly,
Madison Richman, and
Abby Royer have received this honor for the third time.
Two-time recipients include
Grace Christensen,
Anabella Mills,
Angelina Stanfa, and
Kylie Sitty.
Owls earning this honor for the first time in their careers are
Zoe Axell,
Lexi Bracher,
Maria Chronopoulos,
Gabriela Dinisoe,
Haley Fitzgerald,
Hannah Fitzgerald,
Grace Flanagan,
Charlie Manzano,

The Owls will compete in the 2025 GEC Championships hosted by UPenn on Saturday, Mar. 22 in Philadelphia, Pa. The Owls will compete is Session I starting at 12:00 p.m.
