SHREVEPORT, LA. - The Southern Connecticut gymnastics team had 26 gymnasts named Women's Collegiate Gymnastics National Invitational Championships Scholar Athletes as announced by the WCGNIC this weekend. To be eligible, student-athletes need to either have a 3.3 grade point average (GPA) in the fall semester or a cumulative 3.3 GPA to earn this award. 

Grad student and senior honorees include Libby Allen, Erica Beyer, Lexi Bracher, Emelia Diaz, Brianna Dorr, Angel Lee, Alexa Melanson, Shreya Munshi, Megan Workman, and Hanna Zebdi. 

Grace Christensen, Mia Damiano, Gabriela Dinisoe, Ava Kelly, Anabella Mills, Madison Richman, Abby Royer, Kylie Sitty, and Angelina Stanfa are among sophomore and junior honorees. 

First-years Zoe Axell, Maria Chronopoulos, Haley Fitzgerald, Hannah Fitzgerald, Grace Flanagan, Charlie Manzano, and Jordan Villani round out the rest of the team awarded this honor.
