Gagne, Osagie, Torok, and Jolly Named to NE10 Academic All-Conference Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut Men's Track & Field Standouts Owen Gagne, Osaretin Osagie, Dylan Torok, and Leo Jolly were all named to the Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Team for the 2024-2025 Indoor season.

Captain Owen Gagne, who won the NE10 Cross Country Championship in the fall and was named the NE10 Cross Country Runner of the Year, continued his success into the indoor season. At the NE10 Championship Meet, he was a part of the Owls' 4x800 team that won the silver medal. It is Gagne's second time being named to the Academic All-Conference Team this year after receiving the same honor in the fall.

Osaretin Osagie, also a captain, continued his decorated career this indoor season, bringing home two medals at the NE10 Championship meet. He placed second in the 60m Hurdles and finished third in the 400m Dash. Those two performances brought his career total to nine medals in four years competing with the Owls.

Dylan Torok, another team captain, led the Owls with three medals at this year's NE10 Championship. He won the heptathlon for the second straight season, and placed third in both the High Jump and the Pole Vault. He was named the NE10 Men's Most Outstanding Field Performer for the second consecutive year.

Leo Jolly set several personal-bests this season in both throwing events. He placed fourth in the Shot Put at the championship meet, and placed 11th in the Weight Throw, helping lead the Owls to their eighth-straight NE10 Indoor Championship. At the meet, he received the conference's Elite 24 award, which is presented to the male competitor with the highest cumulative GPA.

The Owls return home to host the Wilton Wright Invitational this Friday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th.
