SCSU Women's Outdoor Track & Field Tabbed With Two NE10 Weekly Awards

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut Women's Outdoor Track & Field brought home two weekly awards for Week 2 of the 2025 season, as announced by the Northeast-10 Conference on Wednesday, April 8th. Patrice Mansfield was named the NE10 Track Athlete of the Week, and Uliana Pokutnia was named the NE10 Rookie of the Week.

Patrice Mansfield continued her dominant indoor season into the outdoor season, recording a top-20 time in NCAA Division II in the 100m Hurdles at the UConn Dog Fight. She finished fourth in the event with a time of 14.10. She also placed 15th in the 200m Dash with a time of 25.21, and was a part of the Owls' 4x100m Relay team that placed third at 47.15, alongside Kisha Francois, Megan Swan, and Avery Winters. All three times rank first in the NE10.

Uliana Pokutnia had a breakout performance at the UConn Dog Fight, placing second in the Triple Jump with a mark of 11.49m (37-08.50). That jump was a new personal-best for Pokutnia, and ranks first in the conference.

The Owls compete again at home on Friday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th for the Wilton Wright Invitational.
