Darla Jagrosse, Lily Quill Tabbed With NE10 Weekly Awards

Southern Connecticut women's track & field standouts Darla Jagrosse and Lily Quill both received weekly awards for the final week of the 2026 season, as announced by the Northeast 10 Conference on Tuesday, May 12th. Jagrosse was named Field Athlete of the Week, and Quill was named Rookie of the Week.

Jagrosse capped off her collegiate career with a bang, placing second in the Shot Put and fourth in the Discus Throw at the 2026 NEICAAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, recording personal best marks in both events. This came just one week after Jagrosse earned Most Outstanding Field Athlete honors at the 2026 NE10 Outdoor Championships after winning the Discus Throw and placing second in the Shot Put. This is the first weekly award of Jagrosse's career.

Quill takes home her second Rookie of the Week honor after a strong finish to the season. She placed eighth in the Pole Vault at the NEICAAA Outdoor Championships and took home first in the Pole Vault at the NE10 Outdoor Championships, helping the Owls to a third-straight NE10 Championship and a second-place finish at the New England Championships. She wraps up her rookie season having recorded the top pole vault marks in the NE10 during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
