SCSU Women's Track & Field Places 11 On NE10 Academic All-Conference Team

Southern Connecticut State University women's track and field placed 11 student-athletes on the 2026 Northeast 10 Conference Women's Outdoor Track & Field Academic All-Conference team as announced by the NE10 on Thursday, June 17, 2026. Those honored include Uliana Pokutnia, Abigail Bajorek, Joelle Budz, Courtney Henchcliffe, Maddie Hathorn, Ella Maclean, Peyton Dauphinais, Bella Sorrentino, Avery Winters, Erin Sola and Celine Bozukluian.

Dauphinais, Henchcliffe and Sola were also earned NE10 Academic All-Conference honors for the Cross Country and Indoor Track & Field seasons.  Dauphinais, Henchcliffe, Bajorek and Sola were also named to the 2026 NE10 Women's Cross Country Academic All-Conference Team. Hathorn was previously named to the 2023 and 2024 Outdoor Academic All-Conference team as well as the 2024-25 Indoor Track & Field Academic All-Conference Team.

Henchcliffe was previously named to the 2023 Women's Cross Country Academic All-Coference Team. Her latest honor wraps up a remarkable year in which she earnee USTFCCCA East Region Runner of the Year honors.   Last month, she completed a three-season sweep, becoming the first athlete in program history to receive NE10 Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year in the same season. She clinched the final award with a dominant outdoor season, winning the 5000m and placing second in the 1500m at the 2026 NE10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships. She followed up that performance by winning the 5000m at the 2026 New England Championships, helping the Owls to a second-place finish. She also broke the outdoor program record in the 5000m with a time of 17:04.82. She was a four-time Athlete of the Week recipient this season, and is the second straight Owl to win the award after Hannah Caiola won it in 2025, and the third overall (Letecia Taylor, 2010). 

In additioun to Henchcliffe remarkable season, Dauphinais, Bozukluian, Winters, Maclean and Sorrentino all won NE10 Championships. Dauphinais won the NE10 10,000 Meter Championship, Bozukulian won the Hammer Throw, while Winters captured the 400 Meters. Pokutnia won the Triple Jump, Maclean captured the 100 Meters, 200 Meters and 4x100 Relay and Sorrentino won the Heptathlon. Maclean and Winters teamed on the 4x100 Relay while Maclean also won Silver in the 200 Meter and Winters won Bronze. The duo led the Owls with three meals each. 

PJ Dauphinais had another impressive season with the Owls as she helped them win the second NE10 Championship in program history and the second NCAA East Regional title in program history. Dauphinais earned All-NE10 Third Team honors with a third place finish in a time of 23:26.2 at the NE10 Championship. At the NCAA East Regional, she was third at 21:46.15, which was also her personal-best time. In the classroom, she recorded a 3.78 GPA while majoring in Nursing.

Erin Sola had another fantastic season with the Owls as she helped them win the second NE10 Championship in program history and the second NCAA East Regional title in program history. Sola came in seventh place in a time of 24:00.4 and earned All-NE10 First Team honors at the NE10 Championship. At the NCAA East Regional, she was 15th with a personal-best time of  22:58.46.
