SCSU Women's Soccer Ties with Southern New Hampshire, 0-0

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Southern Connecticut Women's Soccer drew against Southern New Hampshire, 0-0 in a defensive Northeast-10 Conference battle. The Owls move to 1-2-2 on the year. 

Abby Aughe was the standout for Southern, recording seven saves in net after notching her 100th career save in the team's last game against Jefferson. That total matches her season high, and her save percentage is now at 85.2%, which ranks second in the NE10. She also ranks second with 23 total saves this year. 

Bella LaPerle, Aimee Girard, and Jeimy Gonzalez all recorded shots on goal, but were unable to convert. 

The Owls return home for their next matchup when they take on Assumption at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23rd.
