SCSU Men's Swimming and Diving Ranked Third in NE10 Pre-championship Poll

Southern Connecticut State University Men's Swimming and Diving was picked third in the 2025-26 Northeast 10 Conference Pre-championship Poll, as announced by the NE10 on Tuesday Feb. 10, 2025.
 
The Owls tied with long time rival Bentley for third place and were placed above Pace, Saint Michael's, The College of Staten Island, Felician and Assumption to round out the 10-team conference.
 
Last season, Southern Connecticut won the conference championship, beating runner up Adelphi University 912-878. The Owls captured 34 total medals, which included seven championships. This was the Owls fourth straight NE10 Championship.
 
The Owls return one gold medal winner from last year in Ben Frazer who helped the Owls secure the win in the 800 yard freestyle relay. Along with Frazer, Jack Fry returns after winning a silver medal last year for his role in the 200 yard freestyle relay and diver Elliott Speckhard won a silver medal in one-meter diving last year. Along with the returners from last year, senior Dylan Prescher returns to the water after winning the outstanding swimmer of the meet award in 2024,by securing three individual championships.
 
The Owls begin their quest for a fifth straight conference championship starting on Thursday Feb. 12 and continuing through Sunday Feb. 15 in Worcester, Mass.
