Tish Blackwood swept the Northeast 10 Conference Weekly Honors for Week 14.
Rheyna Steinauer was named Northeast 10 Conference Player of the Week and
Tish Blackwood was named Northeast 10 Conference Rookie of the Week, as announced by the NE10 on Monday, Feb. 23, 2026. This is the first NE10 Player of the Week honor for Steinauer in her career. This is the sixth straight week that Blackwood has been named NE10 Rookie of the Week. This season, Blackwood is the only basketball player to have earned NE10 Rookie of the Week honors, for six consecutive weeks. Additionally, she has been named NE10 Rookie of the Week, seven times overall, and leads the conference for the most Rookie of the Week honors earned by an individual student-athlete this season.
Rheyna Steinauer helped the Owls to a 2-0 week, with two impressive performances against Adelphi and Saint Michael's. Steinauer recorded her third double-double of the season with a team-best of 16 points and a team-best of 11 boards, as she was 5-for-9 from the floor, 2-for-2 from beyond the arc and 4-for-4 from the free-throw line in the 82-41 victory over Adelphi. Against Saint Michael's, she had a team-best of 22 points, with 5-for-7 from beyond the arc, a team-best of six assists, four boards and a team-best of three steals in the 88-63 victory over the Purple Knights.
Tish Blackwood dominated the floor in a 2-0 week for Southern Connecticut. She had 12 points, grabbed nine boards, was 2-for-2 from the free-throw line, had a team-best of three assists and three steals in the 82-41 victory over Adelphi. Against Saint Michael's, Blackwood recorded her 11
th double-double of the season with 15 points and a team-best of 12 rebounds. In addition, she totaled a team-best of six assists and a team-best of two blocks in the 88-63 victory over the Purple Knights. She averaged a double-double this week of 13.5 points and 10.5 rebounds.
