ITHACA, N.Y. - Southern Connecticut gymnastics lost to Cornell, 193.450-189.075, in a dual meet in Ithaca, N.Y. 

Jordan Villani led the Owls in two different events and managed a scoring routine in three different events. Haley Fitzgerald also scored in three different events.  

VAULT 
Jordan Villani scored a team-best 9.700 to tie for third place in the Vault. Haley Fitzgerald also scored a 9.550 for a tie for seventh while Libby Allen and Autumn Everett both scored a 9.500 for a tie of ninth place.  

UNEVEN PARALLEL BARS 
It was Villani again for the Owls on the Bars with a team-best score of 9.600 for a tie of fourth place. Gabriela Dinisoe  and Hannah Fitzgerald were close behind at 9.525 for seventh while Zoe Axell finished ninth with a 9.400.  

BALANCE BEAM 
Maria Chronopoulos and Mia Damiano both scored a 9.500 on the Beam to tie for fifth place. Dinisoe was seventh at 9.450 and Haley Fitzgerald was ninth at 9.175.  

FLOOR EXERCISE 
Ava Kelly and Angelina Stanfa both tied for second place in the Floor Exercise with a pair of 9.775 scores. Villani finished eighth with a 9.625 while Haley Fitzgerald posted a 9.575 for ninth.  

Southern is back in action when they take on Long Island University in Brooksville, N.Y. on Friday, March 6 at 6 p.m.
