Courtney Henchcliffe Breaks Outdoor 5000m Record, SCSU Women's Track & Field Competes at Three Meets

Southern Connecticut women's track & field competed at three meets, finishing up day two at La Verne's Leopard and sending athletes to the Bryan Clay Invitational and the UConn Northeast Challenge.

At the Brian Clay Invitational, Courtney Henchcliffe broke the outdoor program record in the 5000m with a time of 17:04.82. Henchcliffe had PR'd in the 5000m in back-to-back weeks.

The Owls' 4x100m Relay team broke the Ortmayer Stadium record at the Leopard Invitational, winning the event with a time of 46.13.
