Southern Connecticut Women’s Track & Field Wraps Up West Coast Trip with Strong Weekend

Southern Connecticut women's track & field wrapped up their west coast trip, competing at Day 2 of the Bryan Clay Invitational while also competing at the UConn Northeast Challenge and Yale's Mark Young Invitational.

At UConn, Celine Bozukluian PR'd for the second-straight week in the Hammer Throw with a mark of 53.47m. That distance ranks first in the Northeast 10 and 26th in NCAA Division II, meeting the NCAA provisional standard. It is also the sixth-farthest throw in program history.

Maddie Hathorn recorded the top Pole Vault mark in the NE10 this season at the Mark Young Invitational. PJ Dauphinais recorded the second-fastest 5000m in the conference, and Darla Jagrosse recorded the second-farthest Shot Put.
