After a quiet first three innings, the Owls struck first in the top half of the fourth. The inning began with a single to right field by Gianna Ianquinto. Iaquinto would then take second on a wild pitch to Austin. A walk by Austin would then set up runners on first and second for Sophia Angiolini. Angiolini would smack a single to center field, driving in Iaquinto and giving the Owls a 1-0 lead.

After a quiet fifth inning, the Owls scored again in the top of the sixth inning. The inning's offense began with a walk from Iaquinto.
