All-Region in the shot put (indoors and outdoors), discus (outdoors) and weight throw (indoors)....Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection...Finished second in the weight throw with a distance of 15.90 at the Lidifter Invitational, as well as finishing fourth in the shot put after a throw of 13.40 meters on 12/4…Placed sixth in the weight throw with a toss of 15.18 meters and 10th in the shot put with a throw of 13.15 meters at the Yale Intercollegiate Track Classic on 1/15…Finished 11th in the weight throw at the Albany Great Dane Classic after a distance of 15.61 meters on 1/21…Competed in the shot put and weight throw at the Northeast-10 Indoor Championships, finishing fourth (13.67 meters) in the shot put and fifth (15.16 meters) in the weight throw on 2/17…Had a fourth place finish in the shot put with a distance of 14.41 meters and a fourth place finish in the weight throw with a distance of 43.25 meters on 4/22 at the Roadrunner Express Invitational…Finished fourth at the Northeast-10 Outdoor Championships in the discus with a throw of 41.04 meters…Recorded a throw of 13.72 meters in the shot put to finish 20th and added a discus throw of 44.19 meters to place 12th at the New England Outdoor Championships.

As a Sophomore in the 2009-10 season:
At the Lidlifter Invitational, placed second in weight throw with a toss of 15.39 meters…Also placed fifth in shot put with a throw 12.88 meters…Earned fourth place at the Southern Connecticut State Alumni Meet in weight throw with a toss of 16.12 meters…Also finished fifth in shot put with a distance of 12.74 meters…Placed seventh in weight throw at the Metropolitan Championships with a toss of 14.96 meters…Took tenth place at the Giegengack Invitational in weight throw with a toss of 15.06 meters…Scored fourth place at the Northeast-10 Indoor Championships in weight throw with a distance of 13.70 meters…Also finished second place in shot put with a toss of 14.29 meters…Finished twentieth at the New England Championships in shot put with a throw of 12.81 meters…Earned fifth place at the Brown Outdoor Invitational in shot put with a toss of 13.56 meters…Also took sixth place in discus throw with a toss of 40.58 meters…At the NY Metropolitan Outdoor Championship, placed third in shot put with a distance of 13.55 meter…Also finished seventh in hammer throw with a toss of 39.88 meters…Took second place at the Northeast-10 Conference Outdoor Championships in long jump with a leap of 14.26 meters…At the New England Outdoor Championships, finished 15th in discus throw with a mark of 41.82 meters and took 20th in shot put with a toss of 13.53 meters.

State champion in the discus at Ledyard (Conn.) High School...All-Area selection...Helped the track and field squad capture the league title...Also an All-Area performer in football...Part of a state championship winning team on the gridiron.
