Biography
As a Junior in 2010-2011:
All-Region in the 5000 meters (indoors)...All-New England in the 4x800 relay (indoors)…Contributed to a fourth place finish (7:54.05) in the 4x800 relay at the Yale Intercollegiate Track Classic on 1/15…Competed in the 3000 meters and finished ninth with a time of 8:40.02 at the Albany Great Dane Classic on 1/21…Placed sixth in the mile, recording a time of 4:17, and ran in the 3000 meters finishing second, posting a time of 8:41.90 at the Northeast-10 Indoor Championships on 2/17…Had a 12th place performance in the 1000 meters at the New England Indoor Championships with a time of 14:58.77...Also competed in the 4x800 relay and distance medley relay, finishing on the 17th place team in the 4x800 (8:07.31) and the second place team in the DMR (9:57.78).
In the 2010 Cross Country season:
All-Region and All-Conference performer for the Owls....Finished 13th at the Northeast-10 Championships with a time of 25:37.5...Took 11th place with a time of 31:53 at the NCAA Division II Regionals.
As a Junior in the 2009-10 season:
At the Brown Outdoor Invitational, earned first place in 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 9:43.22…Captured second place in the 1500 meter relay with a time of 3:59.70 at the NY Metropolitan Outdoor Championships…Also took fourth place as a part of the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 8:07.15…At the Northeast-10 Conference Outdoor Championships, set NE-10 record for the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a mark of 9:19.17…Also placed second in the 5,000 meter run in 15:50.59…Finished 15th in steeplechase at the ECAC & IC4A Outdoor Championships with a time of 9:08.90.
In the 2009 Cross Country season:
All-Region and All-New England honoree…First Team All-Conference Selection… Also earned All-New England honors…At the Bryant Invitational, took a first place finish for the Owls with a time of 16:35…Named Northeast-10 Co-Men’s Athlete of the Week…Finished second overall at the Connecticut College Invitational with a time of 25:20…Named Men’s Athlete of the Week by the Northeast-10…Placed 15th in the New England Championships with a time of 25:04…Named to the Northeast-10 weekly honor roll…Placed 6th overall in the Northeast-10 Championships with a time of 25:29.8…Finished 7th overall in the NCAA East Regional Championships with a time of 32:02.9.
As a Sophomore in the 2008-09 season:
Won the 3000 meter run at the Yale Classic with a time of 8:31.52…Named to the Northeast-10 weekly honor roll…At the URI Sorlein Invitational, claimed the eighth spot in the one mile run with a time of 4:24.
In the 2008 Cross Country season:
Finished third with a time of 25:31 at the Leeber Invitational…Finished fourth with a time of 31:29 at the NCAA East Regionals and was named to the All-East Region Team…Named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending 11/9…Finished the NCAA Division II Championships with a time of 33:16.
As a Freshman in the 2007-08 season:
Placed second in the 3000m at the Northeast-10 Indoor Championships…Placed 10th in the 3000m run with a time of 8:38.32 at the New England Indoor Championships…Placed second in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:50.39 at the Owl Invitation…Placed seventh in the 3000m steeplechase at the Sam Howell Invitational…Placed first in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:36.65 at the Northeast-10 Outdoor Championships.
