2012 Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll Selection

As a Sophomore in 2011-12:
Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection...Won the 400 meters run with a time of 1:01.20 at the UConn Triangular Meet on 1/7...Ran in the 4x400 relay and helped the team finish ninth with a time of 3:58.6...Placed 11th in the 500 meters with a time of 1:18.08 at the Metropolitan Championships on 1/26...Performed in the 4x400 relay and helped the team to a 12th place finish with a time of 3:59.3 at the Valentine’s Invitational on 2/10...Competed at the Northeast-10 Championships on 2/18 and helped the 4x400 relay group to a third place finish with a time of 4:03.49...Also placed eighth in the 500 meters with a time of 1:21.74...Ran in the 4x400 relay that placed 13th with a time of 3:57.12 at the New England Championships on 2/24...Helped the 4x400 relay team win its event with a time of 3:59.09 at the UConn Spring Invitational on 3/31...Part of the 4x100 relay team that finished second in 49.38, and also finished eighth in the 400 meters with a time of 1:01.91 at the Roadrunner Invitational on 4/6...Ran in the 4x400 relay that finished fifth with a time of 3:57.86, and also placed seventh in the 4x100 relay with a time of 49.38 at the Metropolitan Championships on 4/14...Participated in the 4x400 relay and helped the unit to an 11th place finish with a time of 3:53.62 at the Larry Ellis Invitational on 4/20...Ran with the 4x100 relay team that was second  with a time of 48.83 and the 4x400 relay that finished third with a time of 4:09.64 at the Yale Springtime Invitational on 4/29.

As a Freshman in 2010-11:
At the Giegengack Invitational, finished 22nd in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.30 seconds…Also secured an eighth place finish in the 500 meter dash (1:18.37)…Placed fourth overall as a part of the 4x400 relay team at the Valentine Invitational with a time of 3:51.31…Finished third in the 500 meter run at the Northeast-10 Track and Field Indoor Championship with a time of 1:17.08…Also notched a first-place finish as a part of the distance medley relay team with a time of 12:42.63…Placed ninth in the 500 meter dash at the New England Championships with a time of 1:16.97…Also placed second as a part of the 4x400 meter relay team with a time of 3:48.66…At the Roadrunner Express Invitational, came in 17th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.33 seconds…Placed sixth in the 400 meter dash at the Northeast-10 Championships with a time of 1:00.21.

In the 2010 Cross Country season:
Did not see action for the Owls.

Before Southern Connecticut State University:
Was a part of the Fitch (Conn.) track and field team...All-Area in the 400 meters as a junior…4x400 qualifier for the Nike Indoor National in 2010…4x100 All-Area as a sophomore and junior year outdoors…Also participated in varsity soccer.

Daughter of Margarita Florentino and Daniel Tarcisevich…Born in the Dominican Republic…Plans to major in psychology.
