No. 15 Nationally Ranked Baseball Make it 10 Straight Wins

BOCA RATON, Fla. –The No. 15 nationally ranked Southern Connecticut State University baseball team improves to 10-0 on the season defeating Saint Thomas Aquinas College today, 13-6. Steve Landell (Higganum, Conn.) started for the Owls earning the win, going eight innings and giving up two earned runs on six hits. Reliever Will Meade (Orange, Conn.) threw the final inning and gave up two runs.

The Owls saw production from freshmen #T.J. Shea# (Hamden, Conn.) and #T.K. Kiernan# (Wallingford, Conn.). Shea went 2-for-3 with two rbi, while Kiernan went 2-for-4 with a runs scored and an rbi. Tranfer Kyle Cummings (Hamden, Conn.) led the team with three rbi and had two hits on the day. Outfielder Kyle Rosadino (Berwyn, Pa.) also collected two hits and an rbi against St. Thomas Aquinas.

The Owls will be back in action tomorrow for a double-header against C.W. Post in Boca Raton, Fla. The Owls defeated C.W. Post earlier this season. The game is scheduled to start at noon.
