Box Score SANTALUCES, Fla. - The Southern Connecticut State University baseball team fell 6-1 to Southern New Hampshire on Saturday night.

At the plate,T.K. Kiernan (Wallingford, Conn.), T.J. Shea (Hamden, Conn.), Julian Sobin (Ansonia, Conn.) and Kyle Holland (Norwich, Conn.) each had a base hit.  Sobin drove a double to lead off the second, while Holland plated Shea for the Owls' lone run in the seventh.

On the hill, starter Mike Yerina (Trumbull, Conn.) took the loss.  The sophomore gave up two runs, one of them earned, six hits, three walks and struck out five over six innings.

The Owls conclude their first trip down to Florida Sunday morning against Molloy.
