NEW ORLEANS - After a week in the No. 2 position, the Southern Connecticut State University women's indoor track and field team is once again ranked No. 1 in the East Region in the latest United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association rankings.

The Owls competed at the Valentine's Invitational last week in a meet that featured Division I, II and III competitors, along with unattached and club performers.

SCSU is back in action on Saturday for the NE10 Indoor Track and Field Championship.
