WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Southern Connecticut State University baseball team was victorious in their tilts today against Molloy College and Caldwell University.

Game 1 vs. Molloy College
Kyle Hart (North Branford, Conn.) had two hits and three RBI to lead the Owls to a 4-3 over Molloy.
Griffin Bremer (Higganum, Conn.) pitched eight innings allowing just three runs to secure the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The game was scoreless until the top of the fifth inning when Hart hit an RBI single scoring

The Owls continued to tally the runs in the top of the seventh inning when
Jim Palmer (Milford, Conn.) scored off of a wild pitch. Hart stepped to the plate and knocked in
Tyler Criscuolo (Branford, Conn.) and
Nick Lamberti (East Haven, Conn.) with an RBI single to make it 4-0.
Molloy took a run at a comeback coming within one, but
Jake Santamaria (Oceanside, N.Y.) secured the save in a 4-3 win
Game 2 vs. Caldwell University
Griffin Garabedian (Hamden, Conn.) had four RBI, while
Cole Bryant (Newington, Conn.) earned his third win of the season to lead the Owls to an 8-7 win over Caldwell. Santamaria also earned his second save of the day.Â
The Owls return to action on March 13 as they face Post University at 12 p.m in Boca Raton, Fla.
