Southern Connecticut baseball standout Brennan Staubley was named to the 2026 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association All-East Region First Team, as announced by the D2CCA.
Staubley lands on the First Team after a dominant 2026 campaign. He finished the season with a .429 batting average, going 69-for-161 with nine doubles and 11 home runs. He ranked second in the NE10 in batting average, third in OPS at 1.163, seventh in hits, eighth in home runs, and fifth in slugging at .694. His best series of the year came against his former school Franklin Pierce. He went 8-for-11 (.727) in the final two games of the series with two home runs, two doubles, eight RBI, and three runs scored. His go-ahead, three-run homer in the top of the 9th inning in game two clinched the sweep. This is Staubley's second All-Region recognition this season after being named to the NCBWA First Team last week. He was also named to the All-Northeast 10 First Team earlier this month.
