BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Southern Connecticut State University baseball squad defeated Caldwell University today, 10-3. The Owls have won five of their six outings thus far in the Sunshine State with three games remaining on the trip.

The Owls collected offense from eight different players, scoring ten runs in five innings.
Tyler Criscuolo (Branford, Conn.) had three hits, three RBI and scored one run, while
Nick Lamberti (East Haven, Conn.) had three hits, one RBI and two runs scored to help lead the Owls to victory.
Southern Connecticut collected doubles from Criscuolo,
Greg Zullo (Branford, Conn.),
Kyle Hart (North Branford, Conn.),
Nolan Cloutier (Wallingford, Conn.), and
Griffin Garabedian (Hamden, Conn.) to ignite the offense.
Mike DeMartino (New Haven, Conn.) connected on a pitch in the top of the ninth inning, blasting it out of the park, scoring
Connor Redahan (Greenwich, Conn.) and securing the win.
Freshman
Nate Carney (Bristol, Conn.) earned his second win of the year pitching seven innings allowing just three runs and striking out two. Junior
Austin Darrow (Brooklawn, N.J) stepped to the mound in eighth inning to complete the game.
The Owls return to action Friday for a doubleheader against American International College at 11 a.m and Merrimack College at 2:30 p.m in Lantana, Fla.
