NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut State University women's lacrosse coach Betsy Vendel has announced the team's 2018 schedule. The Owls will play five of their 16 regular season games at home on the Jess Dow Field this spring.
 
SCSU kicks off the season with an away game at Mercy on March 3 to begin a string of seven straight away competitions - NYIT (March 6), Colorado Mesa (March 14), Saint Anselm (March 17), Pace (March 20) and Stonehill (March 22). NE10 play begins with a match against Saint Michael's at Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction, Colo. on March 13. The Owls' matchup against AIC on March 28 is their first home competition.
 
Southern follows the AIC home game with a stretch of two away games - Franklin Pierce (March 31) and Adelphi (April 3) - followed by two home games - Bentley (April 7) and Le Moyne (April 11). The last away game of the regular season comes on April 13 at Southern New Hampshire.
 
The Owls close out the regular season with home games against New Haven (April 17) and Merrimack (April 21) and an away game at Assumption (April 25).
