Southern Connecticut State University football will host NE10 first-place LIU Post on Saturday, Nov. 3 for its final home game of the regular-season.

ALL-TIME AGAINST LIU POST
• Southern Connecticut is 15-13 in 28 meetings all-time against LIU Post.
• LIU Post has won the last five meetings dating back to the 2013 season.

• In a 52-35 loss at LIU Post, quarterback
Raymond Catapano (Franklin Square, N.Y.) completed 21-of-37 passes for 295 yards and three touchdowns, without an interception.
• Running back
Eli Parks (Bristol, Conn.) rushed for 143 yards on 12 carries and a touchdown.
• Wide receiver
Isaiah Dockett (Bloomfield, N.J.) broke the 100-yard mark for the second game in a row with six catches for 111 yards.
THE OWLS' LAST TIME OUT
• On Saturday, Oct. 27, SCSU lost to Pace, 14-7 in overtime, in a Northeast 10 Conference match-up at Pace Stadium in Pleasantville, N.Y.

Eli Parks (Bristol, Conn.) ran for 146 yards on 31 carries, and also had 21 yards in the air for 167 all-purpose yards.

Hunter Fluegel (New Bedford, Mass.) scored the Owls' lone points of the day on a 24-yard touchdown pass from
Matt Sanzaro (Wethersfield, Conn.), who was 8-for-16 for 127 yards.
• Defensively, Rashaad Pierre (Bronx, N.Y.) had seven tackles, including six solo and two for a loss and a sack, while
Brandon Pelzer (Cambria Heights, N.Y.) also recorded seven tackles. • Jarrod Bennett-Moorer (Bronx, N.Y.) had four tackles and a sack.
40-40 CLUB
• With its 48-21 win against AIC last Saturday, Southern Connecticut has reached 40 points in three wins this season, including a 42-21 win against Stonehill and a 43-7 win against Saint Anselm in back-to-back games.
• The last time SCSU scored 40+ points in consecutive games came in the 2013 season when the Owls rattled off three-straight 40+ games against Merrimack, Saint Anselm and Pace.
AMONG THE BEST
• SCSU currently boasts the top rushing offense in the NE10, which also ranks 23rd among all NCAA Division II programs, at 229.4 yards per game.
• The Owls' running game has accumulated 1,606 yards on the ground, while averaging 5.00 yards-per-carry, and has scored 18 touchdowns.
• The Owls' 32.6 points per game ranks 47th in the NCAA.
• SCSU's offense line has also allowed just five sacks in five games for a 0.86 per-game average, good for the 14th fewest in NCAA Division II football.
• Only three teams in all of D2 football hold a longer time of possession with the Owls' totaling 238.38 for a 34:05 per game average.
NORTHEAST 10 CONFERENCE WEEKLY AWARDS
• Senior
Eli Parks (Bristol, Conn.) was named the Northeast 10 Conference Football Player of the Week, as announced on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018. In addition to Parks, Senior defensive lineman Jared Bennett-Moorer (Bronx, N.Y.) was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll.
OUT OF THE PARK(S)
•
Eli Parks' 146 yards on the ground against Pace on Saturday, Oct. 27 gives the NE10's top rusher his third-straight game with 140-plus yards, and his fourth such game in his last five outings.
• The last Owl to run for 125+ yards in three-straight games was Vaughn Magee in 2012.
• Parks' 167 all-purpose yards were his second-most of the season behind his 183-yard day against AIC.
• Parks now has 1,013 rushing yards for the year, and becomes the Owls' first 1,000-yard rusher since John Moscatel in 2013.
• His 1,013 yards give the Owls their 12th 1,000-yard rusher since SCSU joined the NE10 in 1998, and place him 44th in single-season yards in NE10 history.
• Parks had a career day in the Owls' 48-21 win against American International on Saturday, Oct. 20 for Homecoming as he rushed for a season-high 161 yards on 17 carries with an incredible four touchdowns.
• Parks' four tallies matched his season-opening total against Gannon when he found the ned zone four times. Included in Parks' afternoonn were a 30-yard touchdown run and 58-yard touchdown run that stands as his longest run of the season.
SACK MASTER
• A strong Defensive Player of the Week candidate,Jared Bennett-Moorer landed on the NE10 Weekly honor roll on Oct. 29 with his top defensive performance of the season. Bennett-Moorer harassed American Internationals' backfield all afternoon in the Owls' romp of AIC.
• Bennett-Moorer posted a game-high nine tackles as well as 3.5 sacks.
• In addition, he was also credited with three quarterback hurries.
• He followed with a team-high seven tackles against Pace, including his eighth sack of the season, and fourth in his last two games.
• Bennett-Moorer currently ranks second in the NE10 in sacks (8) while his 14 tackles-for-loss also rank second.
THE HUNTER
•
Hunter Fluegel's third touchdown of the season, against Pace, leads all Owls' receivers. It was his first touchdown since the Owls' win against Saint Anselm on Sept. 29.
