GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The Southern Connecticut State University baseball team lost to conference opponent Adelphi University 3-2.

RECORDS: SCSU (16-16, 1-6 NE10) | ADELPHI (17-13-1, 8-7 NE10)

KEY PERFORMERS:
- Mike Giordano (Norwalk, Conn.) went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

 HOW IT HAPPENED
- Adelphi scored in the bottom of the first to lead the Owls 1-0. SCSU countered in the second as Giordano hit a two RBI double bringing in John Spoto (Stamford, Conn.) and Connor Redahan (Greenwich, Conn.) to make the score 2-1. 

- The Panthers tied the game at 2-2 by scoring one run in the third inning. Adelphi broke the deadlock in eighth inning scoring one which proved to be the game winner.

The Owls will host Queens College on Wednesday April 18, with the game set to start at 3:30 p.m.
