SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Southern Connecticut State University baseball team dropped a 4-3 decision to AIC.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- SCSU got on the board first in the fourth inning as they scored two runs.
Ethan Joyce (Exeter, N.H) scored the first run on a double steal followed by a double to left field from
Connor Redahan (Greenwich, Conn.) to bring in
Nick Lamberti (East Haven, Conn.).
- AIC cut the Owls lead in half when they scored one run in the sixth inning. They added two more runs in the eighth to take a 3-2 lead.
- The Owls tied the game at 3-3 in the ninth when
Robert Schryver (Ansonia, Conn.) singled to right field scoring
John Spoto (Stamford, Conn.).
- The Yellow Jackets scored in the ninth to take the game.
UP NEXT
The Owls will host conference foe Adelphi on May 1 for the final home game of the 2018 campaign, the first pitch is set to be thrown at 3:30 p.m.
