Southern Connecticut baseball opens its annual Spring Break trip with a split doubleheader against Alliance and Caldwell on Saturday, Mar. 11, 2023 in Boca Raton, Fla. Southern enters their trip with a record of 7-2 overall while Alliance is 1-9 and Caldwell is 2-2 on the year.
 
The Owls Down South
Following its tilt against Alliance on Saturday, the two teams will face each other again on Sunday, Mar. 12. Southern will then face Molloy on Monday, Mar. 13, Post on Wednesday, Mar. 15, American International on Mar. 16 and 18 and Post on Friday, Mar. 17.
 
Owls Notes
  • Connor Goggin leads the team in average (.424), hits (14), doubles (3), extra base hits (6), home runs (2), RBI (12), slugging percentage (.758) and on-base percentage (.500).
  • Goggin enters the week with a hit in each of the Owls' nine games to date, and has scored a run and drove in a run in eight-straight games.
