SCSU Women's Soccer Draws Against Bentley 1-1

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut Women's Soccer drew against Bentley 1-1 in a Northeast-10 Conference battle. The Owls move to 5-4-4 on the season, 1-3-3 in conference play. 

The scoring started early in the second half after a scoreless first, when sophomore Sydney Myers headed one through for the Owls, Myers is now up to seven scores in her first season with the Owls, good for second in the NE10. Senior Caileigh Driscoll picked up an assist on the score, her second of the year. 

The Owls were able to hold the Falcons scoreless until the final two minutes, when Gabby Vachon drilled one over the outstretched hands of Kaelen Fabry to save the tie. Fabry had another solid performance in net for Southern, tallying six saves. 



The Owls return next week at Pace on Tuesday, October 22nd at 7:00pm.
