SCSU Women's Soccer Draws Against Pace 1-1

Pleasantville, N.Y. - Southern Connecticut Women's Soccer drew against Pace 1-1 in a Northeast 10 Conference matchup. The Owls move 5-4-5 on the season, 1-3-4 in the conference. 

Southern opened up the scoring in the 51st minute when senior Caileigh Driscoll poked one past the Setters' goalkeeper. That marked Driscoll's fourth score of the year, second on the squad behind only Sydney Myers. Alexie Rosado picked up her third assist on the goal, which ties her for the team lead. 

Southern maintained their lead for nearly the entire second half before Pace scored a miraculous goal off a free kick with seven seconds remaining. It marked only the second shot on net allowed by the Owls. 



The Owls return against Franklin Pierce thie Saturday, October 26th, for their final regular season away match of the season.
