Cameron Belton Earns All-American Honors, Places 3rd at 2025 NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field National Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Southern Connecticut Men's Indoor Track & Field Standout Cameron Belton placed 3rd in the Shot Put at the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championships, earning All-American Honors. His throw of 18.54m (60' 10") broke the SCSU Indoor record.

Belton, who was just named the Northeast-10 Indoor Field Athlete of the year for the third time, continued his career year with a personal best throw at the National Championships. His throw of 18.54m (60' 10") broke the SCSU Indoor Record, and was good for third in the nation. It is Belton's best performance after competing in the past three Indoor and Outdoor National Championships, and is his first time earning All-American Honors.

Natanael Barbosa Torres, who was competing for the first time at the National Championships, placed 13th in the Shot Put, throwing 17.28m (56' 8.5").
