Olivia Young had a hit and a RBI in each game and Ashley Lewis improved to 3-1 after giving up one run on five hits in five innings before Miller came in to pitch the sixth.

Game 1
Both teams were scoreless until the Owls erupted for seven runs in the bottom of the 4th inning. Miller and Young led off the inning with back-to-back doubles, with Miller scoring on Young's hit. After a ground out, Sophia Angiolini and Nadia Cestari stroked two more doubles to give Southern a 3-0 lead. Samantha LaFemina walked before another out was record. Karley Austin then stung a two-out single to left to score Cestari. Miller drove in two more runs with a single to give Southern a 7-0 lead.

Lewis was also cruising on the mound as she retired nine straight batters through the 4th. After Molloy finally broke through in the 5th, Miller came on to pitch the top of the 6th inning. Despite a one-out single, she escaped unscathed.

In the bottom of the 6th, Lorelei Stancavage reached on an error before Kalliope Stefanidis doubled to center to move Stancavage to third. Nicole Spinelli's sacrifice fly to center scored Stancavage before Miller singled through the left side of the infield to score Stefanidis with the winning run.

Game 2
The Lions scored in the bottom of the 1st after the leadoff batter reached base and was eventually brought in by a double for the first run of the game.

The Owls threatened in the top of the third inning when Marissa Correra was hit by a pitch in a leadoff at-bat. Izzy Ingersoll then reached on an error and was able to advance to second while Correra advanced to third. The next three batters were then retired to end the inning.

Molloy then tacked on four more runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning and one in the 4th.

Correra and Ingersoll got it going again in the 5th inning after Correra doubled followed by a single from Ingersoll. DeAnna DeCaro came in to pinch hit and hit a sacrifice fly to center field to score Correra.

Cassidy Sullivan brought in a run in the top of the 6th after hitting a line drive to left field. She brought in Cheyenne LaTouche who pinch ran for Miller who led off the inning with a hit.

The Owls battled at the top of the 7th as Ingersoll singled and DeCaro walked. After a batter was retired for the second out, Miller struck out but reached first on a dropped third strike to load the bases.
