NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut State University football has announced its 2025 schedule, which features four home games at Jess Dow Field and a road game at NCAA Division I FCS Delaware State University.
The Owls open the 2025 season on Saturday, Sept. 13 with a non-conference matchup at Post in Waterbury. The Owls then open their home schedule on Saturday, Sept. 20 when it hosts American International at Jess Dow Field. Southern wrap up the first month of the season at Elm City rival University of New Haven in West Haven on Saturday, Sept. 27.
Homecoming 2025 is set for Saturday, Oct. 4 with the Owls hosting Bentley at Jess Dow Field. Southern will then travel to Dover, De. to take on Delaware State on Saturday, Oct. 11 before playing a road game at Pace on Oct. 18. Southern concludes the month at home against Saint Anselm on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The last month of the season finds the Owls on the road for its first two of three games for the November. The Owls travel to Assumption on Nov. 1 and Franklin Pierce on Nov. 8. Southern will conclude the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 15 against Post with Senior Day festivities slated for the start of the game.
