Jack Drewry Named to 2025 ABCA East Region All-Defensive Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut Baseball standout Jack Drewry was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) NCAA Division II East Region All-Defensive Team for the 2025 season. It is Drewry's second-straight year winning the honor. 

Jack Drewry, a graduate student from Wolcott, caps off his year with another ABCA All-Defensive nod at first base. He was also named to his second-straight NE10 All-Defensive team after being named to the inaugural team in 2024. In 331 chances at first base, Drewry was charged with just two errors for a .994 fielding percentage. Appearing in the Owls NE10 Tournament game against Pace, Drewry became the Owls' all-time leading in career games with 205. For the year, Drewry also did it at the plate as he hit .297 (47-158) with a team-high seven home runs while also totaling 34 RBI and 28 runs scored. Drewry led the team with 28 walks and finished with a .428 on-base percentage and a .468 slugging.

He is the first Owl to receive two ABCA All-Defensive selections (2024, 2025), and is just the third player to earn ABCA All-Defensive Team honors (Billy Sullivan, 2024; Andrew Eng, 2023).
