The Owls will look to continue their dominance after winning their third straight NE10 Cross Country Championship in 2024. They also won their third straight NCAA East Regional Championship, qualifying for the NCAA National Championship, where they placed . Southern received all eight available first place votes in this year's poll, good for 80 total votes. Bentley received the final first place vote, ranking second with 70, followed by Assumption (64), Franklin Pierce (53), Southern New Hampshire (51), Adelphi (45), Saint Anselm (42), Saint Michael's (33), and American International (19).
