KENOSHA, Wis. - Southern Connecticut men's cross country placed 29th at the 2025 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships. 

NE10 Runner of the Year Jonathan Volpe led the way, finishing in 41st place in a field of 259 runners, just one spot shy of earning All-American honors. He finished with a time of 30:43.1 on the 10k course. 

NE10 Rookie of the Year Colton Sallum was up next, placing 104th with a time of 31:44.8. Nate Huebner followed in 182nd, crossing the line at 32:30.3. 

Sean Barkasy and Joseph Lamburn rounded out the Owls' scorers with times of 33:10.4 and 33:19.2, finishing in 226th and 229th respectively. 

Frankie Porrini placed 236th with a time of 33:27.7, and Johnson Glidden placed 246th at 33:58.7. 

The Owls team score of 695 was 249 less than last season's national championship total. 

The race marks the end of the 2025 season, which saw the Owls take home their fourth-straight NE10 and NCAA East Regional titles.
